Brazil: new Maximum Residue Levels (MRLs)

Brazil sets new MRLs for 50 active ingredientes as defined in the Normative Instructions no. 165-178 published on August 17, 2022: Acephate, Abamectin, Acetamiprid, Azadirachtin, Bifenthrin, Potassium Bicarbonate, Isopropyl Benthiavalicarb, Benzovindiflupyr, Emamectin Benzoate, Cypermethrin, Cletodim, Cyproconazole, Cyprodinil, Alpha-Cypermethrin, Lambda-Cyalothrin, Cyantraniliprole, Cyclaniliprole, Dicamba, Difenoconazole, Sulfur, Spinetoram , Fluazifop-P-Butyl, Famoxadone, Fluxapyroxad, Fluopiram, Haloxyfop-P-Methyl, Iprodione, Imazetapyr, Imazapik, Isofetamide, Inpirfluxam, Mancozeb, Methiram, Mepiquat Chloride, Mandipropamide, Metominostrobin, Novalurom, Pyrimifos-methyl, Profenophos, Propiconazole, Pyriproxyfen, Picoxystrobin, Prothioconazole, Sulfoxaflor, Thiabendazole, Thiobencarb, Thiodicarb, Terbuphos, Trifloxystrobin and Zoxamide.

In addition, 11 new active ingredients were also approved according to the aforementioned normative instructions: Mefentrifluconazol, Tiafenacil, Bistriflurom, 1,4 Dimetilnaftaleno, Burkholderia rinojensis, Pidiflumetofem, Trichoderma viride, Ametoctradina, Pseudomonas chlororaphis, Phthorimaea operculella granulovirus and Pseudomonas fluorescens.
